LONG TABLE DINNER
Saturday, August 8th, 2026 | 5-9pm
The Third Annual Gather & Graze dinner is a fine dining, culinary surf and turf experience set amongst the trees at The Cabin, located on Shannon Farms, a multigenerational dairy farm in the Alberni Valley.
Enjoy served appetizers during cocktail hour, followed by a sit down, four-course meal prepared by Chef Martin Dean of Neck of the Woods. Guests will select their choice of drink flight to accompany dinner; Antidote Distilling cocktails (or mocktails), Dog Mountain Brewing craft beer, or wine at the time of ticket purchase.
We are thrilled host an event to support local producers, foragers, fishermen, and small businesses by purchasing their products, and showcasing them in an upscale dinner experience. Guests will enjoy a unique atmosphere, meet new people, and learn about local agriculture and small businesses.
Tickets are $250 each (plus GST), and include all food, and drink flight of choice with dinner. Tickets purchased by June 30th, 2026 will be entered into our draw for two tickets to our 2027 Heifers & hors d'oeuvres event!

Cocktails / Mocktails
Nilo and the team at Antidote Distilling will be curating cocktails (and mocktails!) to complement each course of the dinner menu. Local, seasonal ingredients will be highlighted in each glass along with Antidote’s locally distilled spirits. This means that while we know they will be delicious and harmonize with each dish, we won’t have details on exactly what they will be until about a month before the event.
Craft Beer
Robin and the crew at Dog Mountain Brewing will be selecting the perfect beer companion for each dish with dinner - beer that they have brewed in their establishment here in Port Alberni.
Wine
While we don’t have any vineyards local to the Alberni Valley, Nilo of Antidote Distilling will be selecting wines from Vancouver Island (if not, British Columbia), to accompany each dinner course.

We're so appreciative to have Alberni Valley Tourism as an event sponsor for our culinary events this year - have a look at their website for accommodation options in the Alberni Valley, and other activities in our region, to make your night out a full weekend in the Alberni Valley!
